Sarahbell grew up in Washington State on a farm riding and showing horses. She was involved from a very young age in everything from the rodeo to 4H shows. She moved to San Diego to work for a local Icelandic Horse farm, training and running a lesson and sales program. She then started attending local Dressage shows and was hooked. Her first job was working for Grand Prix rider Elizabeth Ball as a part time groom and stable hand. She then worked for Olympian Sue Blinks for two years as her head groom. While there, she rode and took lessons on her rescue Appaloosa, Spock. After her time with Sue, she was more focused on Dressage than ever. She then went on to work with Rebecca Rigdon and David Blake as their assistant trainer and barn manager at Arroyo Del Mar. Both Rigdon and Blake have earned their USDF bronze, silver and gold medals. In the three years with Rebecca and David, Sarahbell was able to ride many different horses at all levels. She was also riding and showing a lease horse, Shotzy, coached by Laurie Falvo; the pair earned their silver medal together. In 2015, she moved to Los Angeles to work for Mette Rosencrantz for one year.
In May 2016, she joined Mill Creek, where she runs her own Dressage training business. She is excited to meet a new group of horses and dressage riders who share her love and passion for this amazing sport.
